Default Question about a torque converter...

I've got a 2006 Chevy Silverado and an STS rear-mount turbo kit. I'm currently using 7lbs. of boost and I'm trying to figure out a good torque converter to buy...What is a good stall for my application?

I would call Precision Industries and and talk to them about a good converter for your truck. I would try to be in the 2600-3200 range but it depends on your goals and needs. Is this your daily driver?

Right on with the PI converter. Thats the only ones we can get to keep from frying converter clutches in the high hp, heavy trucks.

Is PI better in heavy applications (4000lbs.+) than yank? Some towing is also a concern. That is with 500+ rwhp and some track use.

IMO the PI is much better in heavy vehicle apps. then a Yank.

Yeah...it's a daily driver. Nothing too crazy yet though. I'd like to eventually get it up to the 450-500rwhp range in the future...It's only a 4.8L too. I'm gonna give it hell though
