Install the WB a minimum of 8 inches form the turbo due to heat. You can go back further than that if you want.

Depends on setup.I like one in the crosspipe and one in the downpipe if a log manifold is used.If they are a single pipe off each bank then put them there.I've had 2 cars run like crap. Both of them had the 02's next to each other in the same pipe.As soon as I split them the cars ran 100% better.

So if youre doing say a truck manifold set up, you would run youre narrowbands just out of the collector of each manifold (a couple inches away?). And then the wideband minimum (is there a max distance) from the turbo in the downpipe? Just clearifying.

Thanks,
Sean

just make sure the 2 front O2 sensors are the exact same distance from the header flange, as in not one in the collector and one in the DP. it will severely mess up your fuel trims and the car will not sit at steady state cruising

So is there a set distance from the manifolds? Or just the turbo because it creates so much heat?

Thanks,
Sean

New to this too but I think what they might be getting at, correct me if I am wrong, is narrow bands in the single header collectors at same distance from each header and the wideband in the down pipe atleast 8'' from turbo.

there really is no set distance for the front 02 but the closer to the header the better, just make sure they are the same distance from the header so they read the same thing at the same time,

also the wideband should be close to the turbo but not to close, im sure you can make an educated decision of where you want it to keep it from getting too hot, remember that the N/A guys have theres in place of their rear 02s etc, many feet from the header

I had my narrow bands in my downpipe and man did it run like ****. When I went back to single turbo. So I put them right after my headers one on each side and bam it runs just as smooth. But when I was twin I had them in the downpipe and it ran good.
