I honestly have no place saying that, as I've never used any turboes that big, or on an LSX.

But I'd be shocked if it was able to boost at all below 4,000rpm. But I look forward to seeing it!

No worries Bro. I dont plan for it to spool in the lower RPM ranges. I did however learn along timne ago how to make Thumper Turbos spool with 347ci engine when I was messing with the mustangs. It is all in the tune and transbrake .

Who knows. I change my mind about my car it seems like every other day. A nice twin TC67mm setup would be awesome...

The FI-X units will be available with an A/R as small as .85A/R

Almost exact same size. We designed the unit to be very close ( or as close as possible) to the 47 and 55.

Also for reference for you guys asking, on a 4.8L Inline 6, the FI-94X made 75awhp more then a T101mm and spooled 1100rpms sooner on the dyno .

This makes me feel like my twin GT42Rs are so far behind the times... ugh!!! I guess I will run the GT42Rs until I swap the 408ci built iron motor for an LSX built motor... Then I want twin 88s or so!

don't think so....the OFI was built around a S-88/S-90/GT42 sized turbo, the 91X is a 47/55 sized turbo...

Correct the FI-X units are a little larger in size then the S-series units.

the S91 will fit and I thought he was going to test fit to see if one of these new units will work also. I don't think so though, it's already tight with the S series. If you wanted to do a different turbo placement or relocate the radiator it would fit easy though. Would love to get the FI-X 98mm one though in trade for my new unused S91 . I would make it fit! But it's not like the S91 aint going to do the job, lol!

Is that 1575 HP rating on the S91 with the race cover?
