The Fi 9155 looks smaller than an s 91. What would be better on a 427 lsx with et 265 heads. Or should I just go fi-91x

Smaller outside only in length. The 9155 is wider, bigger turbine and different internals (bearing structure).

Oh, sure. Like I'm supposed to enjoy Christmas after a turbo lineup like that. I'll be lucky to sleep at all this weekend.

Also for reference for you guys asking, on a 4.8L Inline 6, the FI-94X made 75awhp more then a T101mm and spooled 1100rpms sooner on the dyno .
What's the one in the other thread you were talking about that was a comparable size to the garret gt55-91?

I've always heard that you can make more power with a bigger A/R but a smaller A/R spools quicker. How would it work if you used a A/R that was too small for a given motor to get it to spool quick but used say....two monster 60mm gates to get rid of all the excess exhaust energy?

what about when you are trying to build more and more boost (keeping the gates shut). That exhaust has to go thru the turbine, thus a small A/R will cause crazy backpressure in that scenario...
