Default Which is the better wastegate?

Trying to decide between the turbosmart 38mm or the Tial 44mm. My combo is a stock cube LS1 with a single precision 66mm.

Thanks

What he said, you cant go wrong with Tial, there are MANY huge HP cars on this site using Tial for a reason.

The Tial 44 is a very nice gate as everyone said...the Turbosmart 48 is also VERY nice, but pretty big...can be tight is some areas. If you need good flow (which you would on a 346 with a 66) I would go with either the Tial 44 or Turbosmart 48. The 38 would be too small.

I am so confused right now haha. So will the 44mm be enough to support whatever I throw at it with that turbo?

As long as you do not screw up to bad on placement the tial 44 will do the job. Turbosmart makes a better gate IMO.

Turbosmart 38 controlled my 383 LT1 with a 88mm turbo down to 6psi steady. Tried the tial 38 as a test and boost was all over the place. Both were spring controlled only.
