Not sure what injector to go with yet, if I can get away with a 70lbs I think it may even get decent gas millage.

If they would have had that ST80 when I bought my S80 I probably would have went that way.

What kind of converter are you going to use?
I run 96ers with a driver box and a fuddle 3k race stall.

The final result of my motor taking a **** is I get parts at *cough* cost *cough* from TSP.

Good to hear they helped you out, I am surprised that you need that big of injectors. Usually 60#'s will do 750rwhp atleast and maybe 800rwhp. What did you upgrade from, damn those are some big *** injectors, lol

edit - I think I remember reading somewhere you have stock lines and returnless system which may be the difference.

Not me. I have 2 intank walbros, -8 feed, and a -6 return. Also have a boost referenced FPR. My car already made over 710whp on a dyno dynamics so figure EASY 800+ on a dynojet THROUGH A TH400 AND 9". This set-up has more cubes, more compression, better heads, bigger cam, bigger turbo and methanol. I can't wait!!!

Sounds great, so you definetly need to upgrade the 60's than. You should be hauling even more for sure now. Edit - got mixed up with someone else about the fuel system, my bad.

So I'm bored and felt like bumping this thread to discuss and bench-race. Is this bitch gonna be fast or no? lol

I'm thinkin' its gonna do big things on a 10psi spring. Were talkin' 9.2:1 compression ratio on pump 91 with a big dual meth kit. Might 60' nasty once it gets dialed in too. About 3200ish race weight.

Predictions? 11.xx? 10.xx?

9.xx lol

I weigh 72lbs.

Kidding. Weight reduction is a sickness I developed long before my turbo days. Only thing holding me back from being real light (for a turbo car) is the iron block and 10pt cage.

PS--I think if it leaves hard it will go 9.90s on 10psi.

Ya I think I just caught that cold its what I am currently hooked on researching right now. I have to get my pig down by this summer with my upcoming mods. Its almost like freehorsepower putting the car on a diet. As it sits now you are more than 500lbs lighter than my race weight if I install everything as is

There is actually A LOT of weight that you can take off that you may not think of.. If you take your stock steering wheel (air bag) off that's like 20 or more lbs from what I've heard.. If you have leather they weigh a lot, back seat, spare tire and jack, ac, cruise control, and all of the other crap...

Ive always wondered, what the hell weighs so much on these cars. Seats dont weigh ****, back seat weighs a good 1lb or so lol So im guessing its all in the k member/suspension??? Whats everything you can possibly take off these cars...bumper supports, spare tire/jack, lighter hood, lighter wheels, but then i go back to "wait we just added a **** load of weight worth of turbo kit and accessories so wtf?" Please school us on some tips ninetres, if you're cool with it of course, thnx in advance

I understand but that doesnt equate to a (give or take) 600lb weight reduction. I full weight turbo car like MightyMouse is at 3900, nine tres is at 3200. Thats a **** load of weight. I keep picturing me grabbing my neighbors old Datsun Z car or newer nissan 240se and putting big power down on a 2400lbs car. That would be SSSICK, and useless on top of that (!traction)

Start with the 17 or so page thread on weight reduction in the drag tech section and then check back in!
