What are downfalls with FI?
Normal City driving - about 15mpg.
Driving like I stole it - about 12mpg.
Highway Driving - 24.1mpg (just drove from Alabama to Virginia
)Hope this helps ya' a bit.

but hey is it worth it
rather surprised at what kind of new C6 I could have been driving
That ain't no ****.
I got all my receipts. New Vette, didn't no I could afford one.lolIf you really want the jones go in the for sale forums and see what F-body's bring $$$ wise, with mods, without mods, etc. I think you are better off if it is bone stock for selling purposes.
Oh well, that is late model performance.
I sold my 95Z with 16k in mods above the 6500 I paid for the car and only got 8k total in resale
I say why leave any money to the kid when I die, let him get off his *** and earn it himself
Also, every FI setup I have seen has complicated maintenance in some fashion.
If you want maximum power though there is no question FI is where it's at.

The biggest downfalls for FI is cutting corners and trying to save a nickel here and a dime there.
Keith
i spent $1500 in back tires last year
lots of oem cars have s/c and even more have turbo's so they CAN be very reliable and just as useful. In our 'retrofit' application though things are never tested like an oem would and sometimes not tested at all! You have to be a wise consumer as well as be able to turn a wrech and be able to give regular check ups.
Thanks for clearing the boost thing up Bob
I was getting wound up.
