Might contact the guy who Joel built that lt1 kit for. There is only one known to date LT1 kit. That guy sold the car so I am sure you can still pick his brain for info or flaws.

I dont want to stir the pot but at the same time people do have the right to know. Lets just say it took about 8 months for me to get the entire kit. Originally the turbo was suppose to come with the kit, but that never happened. However he did refund me for the turbo and I ended up going through Jose at forcedinductions.com to get the turbo. I have been told that he has gotten everything in order and seems to be getting the stuff out on time now so I would do a search on these forums from people that have purchased from him lately and see what they say. I bought one of the original kits and did have some fitment issues as well as you can see from some of my posts where stuff had to be cut and re-welded. Again I am letting you know what happened to me and some others in the beginning but he seems to be getting the kits out much more faster and reliable and no fitment issues it seems. The decision is yours and for sure do your research.

Hey I seen your headers and that sucks., I did send you a PM about them also.

Seems weld quality is not in Joels interest. All those welds on your headers look like dog **** just like the ones on my and the other GTO kits.

Joel Learn how to weld please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah and then when you get it all fixed it doesn't make power like it should, I am getting ready to dump my **** in the trash and make a truck manifold setup or get someone to redo the driver side header totally. The original customers took it hard for sure.

How many of his welds have cracked? A weld does not have to be aestetically pleasing to be a good weld.

Not sure if any of his welds have cracked but how many completed built OFI high horsepower kits do you see running around? Soon there will be much more so only time will tell. I do know some of the original headers he had to take back and redo due to some problems, but have since then fixed(I hope). By the way I can talk from experience as I have one of his original kits installed and is now getting the bugs worked out of the tune(not kit) so stay tuned!!!!!!

Trust me, all this info is DEF worth knowing. I also read in one of OFI's post that if he hasn't delivered a kit in time that he'll refund $1000 off of the price which would be kick ***. I just want a kit that performs well and as advertised. Joel has been good to deal with and has answered all of my questions. I'm not in that much of a hurry to get my kit right now due to other modifications and a transplant in progress. I'll just have to wait and seee when the kit arrives and I get it installed.

For the GTO guys with his kits, did he not fix the problems you had with the kits or did you bash him and take a loss?

Well, after A LONG TIME of reading lol I found a lot of useful info about OFI. Some good and some bad which is exected from all turbo companies at times but I'm curious as to if he screwed you over, why would you order headers from him again as I found in this https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...=842903&page=6 ??

It looks to me as though he makes an awesome kit and I took a chance with his company and so far I'm happy. Only time and installation will tell
