either way they seem to hold up quite fine! Have them in my coupe... last dyno session we bumped the boost up to 24 psi and made over 1300 to the wheels on our mustang dyno. Im sure we are nearing the limits. but we keep the rpm down to 7200. Just my .02c

wow, very impressive. Which rod bolts are you running? BTW I had eagle rods/l19 bolts in my TT TA so I am by no means bashing them. I was actually strongly considering using them for this build but I would rather pay a little more now for billets than be chancing my investment when I crank her up to 1700 or so.

I too have always thought Carrillo tops. That said I have heard arguments that an "I" beam is stronger than the "H" beam found in Carrillo (and their copies like Eagle).
I recommend Speed-Talk for some excellent high end advice. Here are some failed Carrillos from a Supra turbo application. Check out the post for more info and argument.

Seriously, this shouldn't even be a contest. Granted some of these rods people have named can take the power, but if you want the best your going to use aluminum. This is a tube chassis land speed car, not a street car driving thousands of miles a year.
