STOCK LS1s verses LS7s Mybe I'm misinformed and I know the stocks are good but a buddy of mine who has a perfornace shop told me the LS7s were the way to go if changing from stock And I've heard some HORROR storys too on the MSDs going bad on a FI engine
Thats why I just sold mine the other day which were practically new!Either Im putting the stock LS1s back on or going to the LS7 coils which I think would have to be alittle better then the LS1s What do you guys think???LS1s or LS7s GUYS ?????????????

Mine work fine so far. I have heard a friend of a friend's roommates cousin, but whatever. We'll see. No one you ask has actually bolted them on and ran them. There is just a story. So, one guy got a bad set and posted all over the internet, or is there a truth? We shall find out.....

Here's a good writeup comparing the LS1 and LS2 coils. The LS2 truck coils are the most powerful, summarizing from the article.

I think that says it all....
If you need some, grab some rectangle truck coils....but if you already are on LS1s....dont worry about them....
