Red face Procharger question!

I tried a search to no avail. Probly in a year i will be getting a D1 procharger. But i was thinking of first, until then, going with a 90 mm tb and intake. I know in stock form i will see an increase of power, but with a procharger, will there be no difference weather of not i have the stock intake and TB or not since the air is " compressed anyway? I am just curious if i should just save the money from going the 90/90 route and putting that toward the D1. Thanks in advace guys!!

Im doing mine all at once, if I were you and short on cash I would get the kit then do the intake/tb later. You will be impressed with the power the procharger alone will put out. And if ya want more add the intake and TB just my .02

I agree. If you are not short on cash then do it, why not. But if you are in a pinch don't bother with it. The stock tb and intake can take more power than street tires can possibly take anyway.

i agree with everyone else on this, if your short on cash get the D1 first, then the 90/90 is always a plus after that

There was like a 10-page long thread on this a couple months ago. General consensus was that the FAST90 really does nothing for performance on a boosted vehicle.

I'd save the money and do things like subframe connectors first. Check this list out that I put together. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=540 Bob

werd on the sub frames. A D1 on a stock motor will make enough power to ruin the rest of the car.... stuff like the clutch, driveshaft, rearend, trany, torque arm. They say to built em from the back to the front for a reason.

Supporting mods ***!!!! (Why is it putting *** for "For The Win" )

Blown tranny (in my case) FTL....

I would do what everyone is saying. Either save up for the D1, or start saving for supporting mods. Its always a crap shoot as to how long your transmission and/or rear end can last once a power adder like boost is added. Most of the time, if you do not run sticky tires or flog on it a lot, you could get away with it for awhile (i.e. long enough to save your money).

As said already, 90/90 intake setups really don't gain a lot for forced induction. Some say the stock TB and Intake is good for over 800 HP (and its been proven: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...light=tb+stock)
