Turbo ls1 help Hey Im getting ready to turbo my ls1. Its a stock ls1 with LS6 heads Dual valve springs titanium retainers chromolly puchrods and a comp cam 232/234 .574/.576 with 114 lsa and Also ls7 lifters and ported ls6 oil pump.
Im wanting to run about 10 psi or maybe 12. Is that possible with just upgrading the pistons and rods.
I also would like to know what waste gate, blow off valve, Injectors and turbo you guys recomend.
Any help would be awesome. I have an idea of what I should run I juts want some opinions from people who have already done a turbo ls1

If you plan to upgrade pistons/rods you can make a TON of power. The stock crank has been pushed to 1200-1300HP without problems. The turbo, injectors, etc will depend on what kind of power you want to make, streetcar, drag-car, etc.
For an all around good turbo I'd go with a 76. Can make 800 or more, good drive-ability, and good spool. Also not that hard to fit in the engine bay.

Well Its a street/drift car. Its actually in an 2nd gen Rx7. I probably dont even need to build the bottom end. Ill just run it at like 7psi and it will still be a nasty street car. I just dont want to blow the motor
Agree with above, you could probably get away with running your current cam as well. Should make some nice power on low boost, especially in that light car it will haul!
