Electric Vacuum Pump from SSBC

Could this unit by itself or being Overspun by BAP or other voltage multiplier pull enough vacuum through a Filtered Catch Can System to keep our intakes cleaner & in addition help to seal piston rings??? I would rather not install belt driven unit but like the benefits of a vacuum pump ...Just an idea, "Flame Suit On"

Didn't you post this up before Scotty? I don't know you would just have to test it to find out I don't know of anyone who has put a VB on one. Might be worth a try though.

I don't think so really, I just think you need to try it and see how it works if it works good I'll be next.

I may try that myself. I think I will only have it come on under boost or zero vaccume. And just use the manifold the rest of the time.

I have this kit, I ran it on my Very Heavily Modified Tahoe (high 12's). It was a fully built engine with a supercharger. I have this entire kit sitting in a box, I only used it for a month and then I demodded the truck and put it back to stock. I didnt do any tests with it installed. It has great suction but I dont know if it can pull the volume. It would be interesting if someone installed it and did some testing.
