Default 408 + ?Boost? for 600 - 700 rwhp

Building a high boost motor and i would like to have twins for the faster spool but i think the 408 would help with the low end ive been reading alot people using a T76 behind the 408 and having good luck. This is going to be in a truck and i dont that makes any difference. Plans with motor are LS2 block bored .030 and Callies Compstar rotating assembly with mahle pistons with -32cc dish and 317's with 2.08/1.60 with around a 68-72cc chamber all on pump gas 93 octane would the T76 be effiecent for the HP goal i want of 600-700rwhp. i would be happy anywhere between those numbers

You should have no problems reaching your goals witha 408 and a T76. I'm planning on 750 with my 408 and single T76. Got some ways to go though.

I noticed you said LS2 block @ .030" over. Are you thinking LS2 or the iron LQ9 block?

Im thinking the PT76GTS would be the better one of the 76 family. Now keep in mind it'll be intercooled with maybe a 4" downpipe and 2.5" cold pipe and im not certain on the hotpiping. Longtube headers will be on it so this will be a rear mount. Cam is probably going to be a 232/236 .60x/.61x 115 or current TSP 228R. I have room for all big components like large FMIC and Piping

You don't need twins for early spool on that setup. We've done a 408ci with a S85 Turbo which spools very quickly and hit's your HP gaol while only pushing 8lbs in a truck.

Edit-just saw the rearmount. Got me,not a fan of rear mounts.

I would stick with manifolds instead of long tubes. I've been reading on the boards that manifolds work better with the rear mount setups. Might ask around though for clarifiation.

Yeah the S85 will easily make stupid amounts of power.

On a rear mount I would go ST80 if you want big power.....or more then the 76mm will offer.

What kind of performance do you expect from it?.....hp@ rpm?......What do you want?....
The gt45 from the people I spoke to are pretty pleased with it.....Now do you want int/ext wastegate?.....The higher the a/r the better the top end power,,,But comes in later on the powerband.....The lower a/r spools quick but starves.......IS this a street vehicle?Actually for that hp you wont need a t76.....Unlees you want more hp down the line......If your going twins 2 gt45 will more than feed that amount of hp u desire....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GT45-...em370020763664

Actually Ive had real deals and knockoff's......The only problem Ive seen with the knockoffs is that they need to be balanced....Other than that they are an exact copy of the original some time just a reman as well......
