STS after-turbo muffler?

STS after-turbo muffler? STS guys have any of you installed something like a bullet muffler or resonator after the turbo? I dont have the kit yet, but Ive been told that it can get rather loud, so assuming this is true, it may very well not be, is it possible to do this with no damage to performance?
I've got a spiral flow bullet after my turbo and it quieted it down quite a bit. I think I even picked up a little low end torque. I may have given a little HP up high but I'll stick with it.
I put a tiny length (6") dynatech bullet behind the turbo on my GTO. It didn't quiet it much, but it did away with a lot of highway drone and some annoying acceleration rasp. The 4" diameter bullet didn't make any noticeable difference in power anywhere.

I think the volume depends on your setup. A stock engine isn't going to be as loud as a built Head/Cam engine for instance. I run a Borla XR-1 after the turbo bc mine was way too loud without the muffler. As far as performance goes, I doubt there is any noticeable loss. More than willing to give up a little top-end to quiet it down.

it depends on the size of the piping as well, both pre turbo and after turbo. When i switched to 2.5" exhaust to the turbo, but kept the stock sts tip, it took away a lot of the drone and sounds just right.

One of my many configurations I've had hanging off the back of my car was two 3" dynomax bullets in series. Really helped to quiet the car down and I didn't notice any performance loss (tried removing them as an experiment and noticed zero difference).
I've been running open exhaust now and it's too loud for my liking. I have a 4" dynomax bullet that will be installed when the new turbo is. I'm hoping it takes some of the edge off of it since my room mate and GF can both here me coming home from 2 blocks aways

For what its worth and from what I heard/saw actually the turbo muffles alot of the noise in itself..... But like with anything its all on preference......Id myself would never throw on a muffler,,,so when you hear some 16 yr old kid a a stoplight going "FArt...Farrrrrrt......faaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrtttttttt t...." You can pretty much make him snit himself.....Rear mount turbos sound sick.....First heard one on an nsx yrs ago in JApan......And whooooeyyyy that sounded mean....And well lets face it...Nobody makes a better sounding engine than Gm.....Generally resonators can muffle 3-15 db per unit...
