i would say you wouldn't notice the difference between that turbonetics $1600 76mm and a $700 76mm with what you are laying out to do.

i made 790rwhp with a stock 98 cam, i would expect to pick up some with a z06 cam.

i can't reccomend looking outside of this site , but wouldn't hurt to try some sponsors see if they have any group purchases going.

Just wondering if you plan on doing anything chassis wise to your car, any power level even close to what you're talking about making isn't going to be good for much but burnouts.

full umi suspension, roll cage. Do get me wrong this car is going to the track its just not an all out track car. I want to drive it on the streets as well. Hey if you can run 1400hp supra on the the streets I think we can do big power too.

you cannot compare it to a supra.. its apples and oranges.

anyway i agree with a st76 and a 1000hp is way to much for a street car i think. with a gutted car and 600rwhp your gonna **** your pants. goodluck

Where as, a larger turbo with a gradual spool over a 3-400 rpm would be able to hook. Even from a slow roll on the street, say 20-30 mph, I can brake spool to 11-12 lb and when I nail it, it will barely shift. Now I do have the 325 MT streets. I don't think you could hook any street tire.
You are right about the DR's helping a LOT to hook on the street. I was driving around on 16" MT's for a month while waiting for my current wheels/tires. Car hooked up on all but a 1st gear drop. Was actually thinking the motor was down in power. Put the 17's on w/ Sumitomo HTR ZIII's. Car's was all over the damn place. I have to start from a 30mph roll or I'm going sideways.

BTW, that's at only 453RWHP. My $0.02; over 600 for the street is wasted power. If you can't put it to the pavement........

Good luck on your build
