trans is back out wasted the reverse clutches. not a huge deal. ordered the correct shifter from Precision Performance products. Still hoping for the original 700'ish to the tire on pump gas and not sure where it will land as far as a number on racegas. The heads on the car are Dart heads of some sort, i think they're called the pro1 or something? not sure it was a while ago that I put them on....

Hey Matt, not sure if you remember me from the area. I have a white LT1 Z, you used to hang out with my crew a few years ago. I too decided to go FI myself. Car looks great, and the engine bay setup looks really clean.

Hey Jen!
Yeah It's been some time since I've been out with the SLP people. I kinda drifted away due to not having a car on the road for a few years, and the rest of life catches up sometimes and other things get put on the back burner! I should be out roamin woodward this summer when the car is finished. I'm about to go running around to pick up some more parts this afternoon! What are you doing to the Z? See ya around soon!

Already installed a rear-mount GT60 turbo with all the basic upgrades, suspension, stall, etc. Car is running, just needs to get tuned and install the injectors. Everything is going well... you should try to come out this year for sure. We are having our get-together next weekend at Waterford Hills.

Jeff, 415 hp probably about half of what i'm shooting for with the whick turned to kill

glad to hear! I had my car running for a bit and when it went back on the dyno for some more tuning, the block cracked and a piston went...FML!! was on like 8 psi, off the gate, pump gas and 4k rpm makin 450ish hp amd 500ish tq when it seemed like something wasn't right, compression test revealed coolant in number 7 and yea...:banghead: new diamond pistons on the way and a fresh block...this car just never wants to go down the track...

i know exactly how you feel. i had a foreign object get into my motor causing me to replace a piston, pushrod and one head. good thing is i am using stock heads. and now i am having cooling isssues. so i have a superbad radiator and 160t-stat in the mail. hoping to get it on the dyno next saturday.

when do you think it will be back together?

not sure, I was just going to throw the car back in the garage for a few months until i feel like speaking with it again but my buddy ordered up some diamond pistons for me already and he's gettin all that stuff ready for the car so who knows, it'll probably be sooner with his help rather than later!

Dang Matt. Sorry to hear. Hope you guys get it back together and working quickly. Head to Woodward this week for the necessary motivation you will need to get it cruising again.

Thanks Tony!
Yeah I want to atleast head down to woodward on my bike sometime this week. although I have a boat on the east side I have to tint sometime this week after work as well, so who knows when i'll be out. Greg picked me up a new set of pistons, and somewhere another block surfaced, so I think greg might put it together for me here soon. He's the motivation behind it, I'm ready to just throw it in the back of my garage for a year until I can have words with it again
