Default 79 Camaro build-up / 6.0 L92 with twin S366's build pics inside

Hey Guys!
Here are the initial mock up pics of my progress so far.
Thanks to my Bro Dave (Tooslo5) for all the help over the weekend!!!
Setup is in my Sig. The manifolds are flipped CTS-V units.

This is my first turbo build up, so let me know what you think.
Goals for the car are 8's at 3,000lbs raceweight on E85.
I think the setup will allow me to hit my goal with a little headroom.

Jim

Subscribed.......

I was looking at goat manifolds but those cts-v ones look perfect for a twin gt 35 application.

Keep it coming man the 2nd gen is IMO the most overlooked fbody for some reason. You can about get them for free around here.

Thanks for the comments all! Keep it coming!!!
As Dave aka Tooslo5 mentioned, the manifolds are from a CTS-V.
These are the only manifolds I found that would clear the upper A-arms.
I still need to fab the downpipes and the cold side to finish it off.
My engine builder suggested dumping the wastegates to atmosphere instead
of tying them into the downpipes.
Any thoughts on this for a street(able) setup in regards to noise?
I am wanting to avoid the ricer bov sound and prefer that the car is quiet around town because the local cops already know the car as a result of the previous Procharged setup.....
The car was purchased in 98 as a rolling chassis for $100, so it was practically free to start with.
The front end is a a fiberglass clip that I bonded to the factory inner fender structures so I could retain the clean lines of a bolt on hood without any exposed fasteners!
I just wish I had more time to work on this beast, but it is getting there!!

How'd you know my parents were never married? LOL
I wasn't always a big fan of second gen's, but they have grown on me.
Especially since the car was a $100 find!

Running your BOV's to atmosphere will be loud.

I know that GM sold a boatload of the 79's for sure.
Twin 366's putting the squeeze on a 6.0 was not a factory option though

I am hoping for over 900+ to the tires, so this will be a minor power improvement!
I think that goal should be very achievable with the setup.

BOV's to the downpipes????? Dont you mean the wastegates? I ran a Wastegate on my last build open to atmosphere, There is nothing that sounds better in a turbo V8 I think.

The BOV needs vented to atmosphere also.
