2 step rev limiter question
For those of you that already have one, how did you "trick" the computer into not seeing a misfire? Did you simply delete the codes or was there a blocker that came with the kit?
My friend already developed an "on the fly" timing lock for older fox bodies that also included the 2 step in it. He's currently working on one for the Ford mod motors (cobra, etc)
and is interested in the LSx engines also. Any info you guys have, i'd appreciate. As far as the mechanics, engineering aspect, etc, we're good...just curious about the computer/engine logistics once the 2 step is engaged. We'll be using my car for the test...let's hope my 10 bolt doesn't snap!
. I'd say it's much better than brake boosting for sure! For drag racers, same concept applies. Just rev up to where you want to lock it in at...push the button, build boost, then launch like a **** upon releasing the button.
