Nobody does. I can tell you that with absolute certainty.

03 camaro never existed... and never will exsist.

There are a few out for the 02.. pricey.. 3500-4500 price tag.. check out the forced induction section on www.firebirdv6.com message board.

Spray it. More economical and you get more power when you want it.

only thing is I can make WAY more power under boost then I ever could with nitrous.

the stock motor can usually spray 75-100 shot, not bad, but on my FI setup Im boosting over 200rwhp and 200 rwtq more then the stock motor made, still on stock internals. now someone do that with nitrous

dude, more power = more stress. it doesnt matter how you make it the formula is still: more power = more stress. the problem with a blower is you have parasitic loss so it takes some of the power your producing in order to produce more. with nitrous it takes none of that. also, a nitrous kit is lighter than a supercharger kit. if you run it at the track all the time it may be better to get a supercharger but if you only romp on it once in a while i would say go for nitrous and just refill the bottle when needed.

Yes, check out the forced induction section over at www.firebirdv6.com

Mach Performance is coming out with a kit for around $4,745 that will be running 10 PSI with a 3(?) core intercooler. This kit is for the 95.5-02 3.8L V-6. He saw a 100% gain at 8 PSI, so the numbers should be pretty good. It is in the beta testing phase right now, but should be out to the public soon.

5K for a V-6 supercharger? Why not buy a V-8 and put down the same power with no supercharger? Then add some N20 on top of that.

I have already put a lot of money into the car, and I cant even get close to that money with selling the car. I am only 20, so the insurance is a lot better on a 6.

I also hope to be putting down more power than a stock LS1 No nitrous for me, I would like the power all the time.

If you do a motor swap, then the insurance would still be the same. Also I don't know if the internals on a v6 are capable of withstanding the added pressures of turbocharging, even at moderate boost levels.

It is definatly capable of handeling 10 PSI with an intercooler, and bigger injectors. This kit is being endorsed by ATI.

Tiago from the v6 boards had something like 14 PSI, and even up to 18 PSI with his turbo on STOCK internals. I think you are underestimating the solidness of the 3800II.

Insurance is the same on a motor swap if you dont tell the ins. company. Isn't it considered fraud if they find out, and you dont tell them. The only way for them to find out is probably if you get into an accident or something, but the possibilities are still there.

Well isn't it fraud if you don't tell the insurance compnay you have a turbo, supercharger, etc.

And no it's not that I am underesimating the 3800, Ijust don't know anything about them. I wasn't doubting there capabilies, it's just rare.

I don't think it is fraud if you modify your engine. But if you change your motor completely, I believe that is fraud. I may be wrong though.
