We are running the belt tight, and it seems the blower pulley is tearing the ribs off of the belt.
After a dyno run (where it hit 12psi, then dropped to 10), most of the ribs on the belt were shaved off. The inside of the belt being nearly as smooth as the outside, and shredded rubber is piled on the alternator.

Re: Car is seeing 10psi now..... We had the same problem on my car, it appeared to be the entire bracket flexing. Even with the cog setup, once we were in the 15#+ range, we were tearing up belts.

It is definetely the ****-poor bracket design.When the bracket flexes it allows the belt to ride up on the lip of the pulley and destroys the belt right now.It doesnt seem to be a problem until 10 psi with H/C and exhaust.Good luck Bos I went thru this bullshit last year,and got rid of my D-1 because of it.The only way I can think of to cure it is engineer a support for the bracket.What your going thru now is why I have a very negative opinion about ATI.
