I recently lost the crank pulley on my Tahoe fortunately the pulley was the only thing damaged.Magnacharger sent me a pinning kit at no charge to fix the problem.Have any of you guys experienced this type of problem?A pinned or keyed crank pulley is deffenently worth considering.

I would always key the crank. I lost a crank pully at 80mph, and it launched itself under the car and tore everything up from the oil pan back to the mufflers, and lifted the car off the ground so I could not steer for a minute...I was on a bridge too..
Anyway I have had a procharger on my car and you should definetly key the crank.

The crank was not hurt one slight ridge and some black metal residue from the ruined pulley.I was very lucky.
