If you've always liked ford your whole life, you will never buy a chevy no matter what. Nitrous guys usually never go to boost because thats all they know and love

I know that there are differences. I was just stating that the supercharger is a lot more crisp than the turbo. Trust me, I am not by any means a "Ford guy"!! You must have not noticed the rolling eyes next to the Mustang in my sig. I've always owned GM products and I would much rather have another F.I. F-Body than the Mustang. I just couldn't pass up the smoking deal I got on it from my brother-in-law. If I could trade it for a nice F-Body tomorrow, I would!

Umm I currently added a fast 90 /NW90 and only have my older MTI b1 cam in my car and thought it was doggier down low and thru the midrange with that bigger tb and intake. I also had long tubes but sold them off as knew was getting the turbo setup.

Also throttle response when did a 58tb on my nearly stock 96z28 seemed not very good either. I went down to a 52 tb on that one. YMMV.

You probably didn't tune it afterwards did ya? Tip in is increased when you go up in throttle body size. It's physics at play.

i was waiting for that theres no load on the turbo during the burnout to build boost.I wanted to see if it would do it basically NA. and it was smoking the tires quite nicely so i had no need to try and build boost.its a different story at 40mph doing a rolling burnout where the turbos loading so i make boost

gotcha lol didnt catch the rolling eyes. Well at least we know what we mean, and yes i comepletely agree that supercharged cars will always feel snappier than turbo cars for all the obvious reasons

[QUOTE=maxgee;8833873]Thanks for all the responses, I know there are always a trade off when you mod a car. The gains in power out weigh the throttle response. My previous turbo cars had lag and low throttle response, my LT1, LS1 and Vortech Tahoe all where NA and throttle reponse where what I love about them.
The turbo car I drove is a M6 and so is mine. So yes I was comparing it and I realized I was comparing apples to oranges. [QUOTE]

I understand where you're coming from 100%, and remember im not biased i also have a good friend who we did a real nice vortech kit for and im just giving my opinions and experiences when comparing the two cars/setups...They're both badass cars overall but in the end it all depends on what YOU like. Obviously having toyotas in the past, you are biased to turbo's , but tell me this (even though you already mentioned it lol) you cannot tell me your supra had the same or better throttle response wayyy down low(>2500)...If it did then dam i want a 2JZ in my next project car
