u could build boost in neutral . all u need is a 2 step rev limiter.
Is this That Fiero3.4's troll account or something?????????

I love the members who act like they provide factual information, when they are really leading new "FI guys" astray.

2 steps kill spark and load the turbo by means of unburnt fuel. Study up young chap. There is a reason why several seasoned turbo guys are in this thread correcting you......because you're wrong.

Not gonna be the same on every set-up. It depends on your vaccum and BOV settings.

My BOV only opens in neutral if I STAND on the throttle to damn near the limiter and then let off quickly.

I can hear my BOV after a neutral-rev, but not nearly as much as after a real run. BTW, it has to be a short WOT neutral rev. If I run to redline at part-throttle =no BOV noise.

alright well all these answers are leading 2 one thing. I need the drive the dam car. Im going to take pics tomorrow so you guys can see what my build looks like. The only things i have to do still are wire the fans, wire the tach, hook up the clutch line(it looks like they cut the braided house off but left the fitting in the slave and i cant get it out for the life of me). Basically its almost done, hopefully i can drive it this weekend!

thats exactly how mine is...if i bring it up to 4500rpms in neutral and bang the revv limiter a few times and let off, it will make a decent sound...but when im driving its LOUD...I have the dual chamber Apexi BOV. Very happy with it.

No offence, but you cant really argue with me. Your trying to internet race me when I have built several turbo kits for my car at home. I have experience doing it, and I know what im talking about. Come back and argue with me when you have hands on, factual comments and not internet racing me with other peoples cars...once again, Im right. End of Story.
