If your friend needs parts or wants to rebuild his 3800 series to bore/stroke it, port out the heads, ect. I have almost a complete engine for sale. I just want to get rid of it. Let me know alright.

is not running an intercooler an option? also when running an intercooler does it take any longer to build boost? so i am assuming turbo charging is going to be more effective than supercharging a v6? if anyone also knows where i could find a company who sells kits like these please let me know

kidcamaro did u buy your as an entire ready to go bolt on kit? where did u get it? is your bottom end stock? (cant remember if u mention it and i just didnt feel like scrolling back to look) price? it looks crazy! that one in the video really sounded impressive!!

I built my kit myself. I made my turbo sit that high...Their is no kit out that sits like mine does....

as far as my motor...my motor is 100% Bone stock. Went in with 20K on it, and has nearly 40K on it right now...those 20K I added are all 10Psi and over....I have been running 15psi, daily on my bone stock motor with no problems.

as far as price goes...it varries. If you know how to do things yourself (like me) you can save a *** load of money...but if you cant, your gonna pay out the ***....and it all depends on what parts you go with also.

If you want a kit Tiago is the only one who makes them for the 4th gen 3.8's right now....and yes, I would not recommend ever not running a intercooler...and you will not see any affect in boost with one....

turbocharging the 3.8's is far more affective then supercharging them.

This guy does a whole lot of bullshitting so it will probably be a while before he really does anything. back during our Sr. year of Highschool he said it was gonna get a supercharger, one year later it's about to get some Nitrous, and now he supposedly just ordered an intercooler for his turbo project. Ill let you know if he needs anything though.

Alright thanks man. Really all that this engine is doing is sitting in my garage taking up space. I dont have anything to put it in, so its pointless to build up. I think that the thing that he could use the most is the heads. That way he can just swap them out in a weekend. That way he can spend a little at a time. Just a thought.

Tim King has run 8s with a 3800 V6, twin turbo in a 3200lb firebird. Pretty impressive to say the least..
Yeah that car is sick. There's a lot of turbo grandprix (L67 3800s) out there. They're all faster than the gtp blown 3800s

Thats why you dont put a positive displacement supercharger on a V6. Good low end torque, but as soon as you get up to speed, you are pretty slow.

my gtp runs 13's with under $500 in mods. not bad for a four door beater

if you want a s/c v6 i'd buy a used regal, gtp, etc. motor. I've seen them sell for about $600 around here.. intercool that with a 2.8 pulley (and supporting mods) and your looking at 350hp. throw in a cam and other minor stuff and your looking at 400
