Default p600b quest??? LT1

I bought a p600b procharger supercharger and i'm reading up before i install it and noticed 2 problems i might have

#1 the traction control on the vortech site says it needs to be relocated. can i just remove it and have the computer tuned so i don't have traction control?

#2 it also says "1996-1997 LT1 Camaros and Firebirds may require the purchase of a mass air sensor signal massager" again can i just have the car tuned and not worry about this part? cause its kinda expensive for a little part thats just tricking my maf sensor into thinkin there is less pressure.

#3 Also whats the best way for me to tap into oil pan???

#4 What size inj should I use. I do have ported heads/intake 525 deg cam and will ise the fuel pump thats supplied with the kit.

Thanks guys

I dont know a thing about the Procharger p600b kit, but one thing that caught my eye is...if you are using a Procharger kit, why are you looking at the Vortech site?

They all say that, be it ATI, Vortech, Paxton. Thanks anyway.

Not sure on the traction control, as my car didn't come with it from the factory, and I don't even know where it would be located. I would deal with it as it came though, as you may or may not have to relocate it.

As for the MAF massager, I think its all BS, as I don't have one on my maxed out D1SC, and have no problems what-so-ever with my well dyno tuned boosted LT1. The key is getting it tuned by a pro, as you will need someone experienced with tuning a maxed out MAF in an LT1. Bryan Herter from PCM's for less is the expert, and probably the best tuner there is for FI applications on LT1's.

I have the same supercharger on my car and you do not need the massager as long as you get a tune. You also do not need the FMU with a good tune as well. I currently run 42 lb injectors on mine and is plenty. You can just delete the traction control without any tuning. I would also delete the ABS as well save your self alot of pain now before the install. I would get rid of the inline pump that comes with and get a different in tank pump, cheap insurance.

I did the install my self and it wasn't to bad of a job. Need alot of patience. I also have a lift in my garage wich made the job a hell of alot easier. Be prepared to spend at least 9 hours to do this. Hope you have another car to drive. I don't have pictures of the install.

I took a center punch and poked a hole in the pan and kept making it bigger then got an npt tap and tapped the pan. (use grease on the tap to catch the metal shavings). Really wasn't that bad. Good Luck

Thats what I was thinking. A place over by me wanted $250 to do this. There is no way im paying $250 for this. I will do exactly that and do a good flush out w/brake cleaner and keep draining some oil through before start up.
