Hit the Nail on the head there!! Well put Madman. If you think about it, team Madmans setup is your basic midsize conventional headed BBC with a F3 on it. Some people run 5.50's with that setup, but a well thought out combination and some testing you get 4.80's like they have. There are plenty of people out there that are throwing money right and left and still arent up front. It takes as much brains as $$$ anymore.

Good idea but the same tire wouldn't work the best for each car because of varying gear ratio, compound, sidewall construction, auto vs manual, weight of car, nitrous, blower, turbo all bring the power in different so some cars will have an advantage on one tire vs the others.

7's anything is fast, congrats guys hopefully we see a video of that pass or some up and coming ones

Agreed, there are a lot of guys with big power and a lot of money into their cars and they are lucky to make 2 back to back full passes the same day. It takes more than money to go fast, it's all about the setup and tuning.

Who let PSJ in here? My girlfriends cruiser will be faster than your race car. You better buy a bigger turbo.
Excellent, it'll be awesome to see if the truck manifolds hang with the headers....if not YOU guys pushed em further than anyone thought they could be pushed.

It's just not the right time for KYTP. Sometime soon though.

I learned ALONG time ago that to be successful in my line of work that I have the fastest ***** ******* cars out there. The only way to do that is build an in house car and prove the point. A reputable chassis shop is a nobody if they dont have a R&D car they can try stuff on. This point is proven by some of the other competitors of mine who just work on cars but dont have an in house car. They are fighting for second place.

Thats the reason you see LMR, Stenod, Ohio boys, C5Wade, and Team Madman talking all the ****. We have the reputation of being able to back up all the **** we talk.

I'm thinking we'll see a big gain with the headers at this level. But I'm not gona stop using the manifolds till I prove Kurt wrong and break 190mph with them.

I think we all just need to meet up at the track. Get in our cars. Go for a nice 30 minute cruise. Then make 3 back to back passes.

I think its halarious, how many peeps keep coming up with different ideas...
Like take the slicks off, and put street tires on it,or drive your car from Ohio to texas, then drive it a 1/4 mile in reverse, while blind folded. Before long someone will come up with a idea of having to have cruise control, and a remote push start to run.
You gotta true 10.5 car, just get in the other lane, and hope you brung enough... LORD!!
