A quick look netted me this PN 4464K223 its stainless, but it'll weld to mild with no issues.

I also used the Syclone IAT. its a threaded brass sensor. I just tapped the pipe going into the TB.

That is a great site for anyone, but for us its local Chris ran by there today and picked up the bung and the bolts for the turbo. We already made one order from them, but got the wrong bolts for the turbo. Im gonna weld the bung in at work tomorrow, Ill get pics of it for everyone (blurry ones if it looks bad )

for guys that do not have mcmaster local to them... I went to princess auto's hydraulic section and got a 3/8 pipe female-female fitting and cut it in half. Welded it and and voila.

The Mcmaster carr building was insane. It was huge, and the whole warehouse was just crazy. Anyways as broke ef said i got the stuff. I did try looking frcfed, but i was looking under weldable nuts, and i could find 3/8 16 but not 3/8 18. Thanks for that part number, because i was already planning on going there today after work, and it made my life easier only going there 1 time.

Thanks, Chris

Its always nice to walk into a place with a part number in hand and walk out a few minutes later with what you needed.

W2W sells the threaded sensor. Found it on the site after I tried Advance and it was on a BIG list of sensor they don't carry. If it's worked for frcefed98 I might have to try the gromet. You can always weld a bung over the hole later if it would start popping out.

unless it's an NPTF or dry seal pipe thread, you always put thread sealer on a tapered pipe fitting. They seal on the taper, but need help. Keeps them from galling too.

just like you always put anti seize on any stainless fastener into stainless or aluminum thread. But only if you want to take it apart later.

Here are some pics of the IAT bung welded up on Sideways240sx's car

Pics kinda suck, but I was in a hurry. Its close to the TB, but as "hidden" as it can be. If anyone wants to see anything more specific, or what it looks like on the car let me know and Ill get pics. Ill let it be know that I didnt weld it, but it looks better this way
