You must pull the **** out on the regulator(psi adj. valve) then turn counterclock for low(-) and clock(+) for hi.

I would turn the to the full counterclock position then turn it clockwise 3 full revolutions then test drive and adjst accordingly untill the desired psi. amt. is reached.

To ensure regulator operation have someone flip the switch to the on position while another person is listening/placing a finger on the regulator to make sure that they either hear or feel the regulator engaging/operating like a relay. Should hear and/or feel a click from the regulator.

It may be neccessary to test the regulator by blowing into the ports with the switch off and then on to ensure flow through reg.
Be carfull as switch casing may create a small shock when switch is turned on!

If no operation circuit diagnosis is in order, and if everything is working but not psi. adjust is achieved vacc. routing needs to be checked.

Yes there should be a stop on the regulator once you turn it either direction. When you turn it to the full counterclock direction it may keep turning but the actual adj. has a stopping point. You should feel tension while turning it counter clock and once you reach the stopping point it should become real loose/easy to turn.

Not entirely sure on how much psi. is equal to one revolution but only turn it one revolution at a time to ensure you don't go over your desired psi. Once you get pretty close then turn by 1/4 turns.

Just disconnect the sts boost controller (it's not hold on by much) use a boost guage and an air hose to set it right. How old is it? You might have blown it. I know I blew my diagram apart and the thing would keep boosting until the turbo couldn't push anymore. Luckily I had forged the bottom end by then and it was about to take the 15# without blowin'. Secondly, you have a forged 383 probably pushing a good amount of boost and you're still relying on that flimsy thing? I'd invest in a better quality controller.

That's right, pull the **** out. It will slide out some and stay there on its own. Then you can adjust it. Push it back in when you're done.

On mine, 0-3 turns is the same (stays at 5 psi). Starting from when it's turned to the limit already, in the counter-clockwise direction. Then it starts doing something after 3 full turns clockwise. I put a white paint dot on the **** so it was easier to track when I'd made a full turn. Each full turn is about 2 psi on mine. (4turns=7psi, 5turns=9psi, 6turns=11psi) That's as far as I've gone with it, so far.
