Well we got the Red Rocket back from Reiter Metalcraft now. The paint and body work came out awesome! I could not be happier...
Now the re-assembly can begin. I started out by looking to Burkhart Chassis to help with a little weight reduction. He was able to get a 22lb reduction with his chromoly fab 9 over my previous 9in. From there we saved about 15lbs going to a Strange ultra case but added about 5lbs back going to dual rear calipers (Thanks Derty!). Total savings was about 32lbs when all was said and done.
Stenod bent up some pretty sweet stainless brake lines:
Next we moved on to the front suspension where we opted to go with a Burkhart Chassis front K-member, upper and lower arms and manual rack kit:
And Burkhart also made a custom T/A. I wanted to use the BMR T/A but it does not fit my application and I kept bending the Spohn T/A's so a custom one was required:
To finish up part 2 the wiring is getting laid out and misc assembly has begun:
Stay tuned for Part 3 of The Road to Recovery!!
