Notasponsor Installation
The first thing I started with was the removal of the bumper. There was a series of bolts around the bottom, 3 push clips up top and 1 bolt next to each headlight. We also removed the black plastic covers in the wheel well. This may not have been necessary, but it came in handy when having to remove the 3 bolts on each side of the bumper--on the inside. At that point... we slid it right off.
Another thing we removed that probably wasn't necessary was the headlight covers. This was more to make sure we didn't scratch them than anything--and it made sliding the bumper out a little easier.
The next thing that went was the Styrofoam that fills the bumper. This will be permanent.
We then removed the entire air cleaner housing, radiator, fans and AC. The removal of the radiator and AC components again.. may not have been necessary (I don't know yet), but again, thought it would be a safe move to prevent damage. We also removed the AC compressor and associated lines as it made it easier to get to the passenger side exhaust manifolds.
The manifolds, cats and y pipe were the next to go.
We finished the night with the removal of the alternator and water pump. Removal of the water pump is not required--I'm just installing an electronic one.
I'll get some pics up here later.
That's all for now. Wish me luck! And if anyone has ANY suggestions, advice or say... some INSTRUCTIONS
