There are cars running over 550 with maggies. One here with an f body. It will not hit 800RWHP though not that can't no one has is all. It wil not make power over 11#'s of boost. But if you stay around that its hard to beat that. But with you setup a F1 or turbo would be a good choice. I would prefer the F1 from EPP over the APS though. But that is me. Maggie would prolly get you around 550-600 with your current setup with around 8-10 lbs.

And just to clarify, the Maggie kit does not lower the K member. It raises the body from the K member. Drivetrain, steering and suspension is attached to the K member not the body so nothing changes, and the high difference is corrected with a alignment with no problem getting lined in to GM specs

How much low end torque would satisfy your needs? My D1SC setup had too much torque, did nothing but smoke the tires. That dyno was reading the rpm's about 300rpm's slower than the actual tach in the car.

How did you manage that torque curve with a centri? Spray ontop?

Damn, those are some pretty stout torque numbers for that hp output. If I do go with a centri, it will probably be the F1 A since my motor is built for around 20 pounds of boost.

What about the 2300 series magna Duttweiler did that made 950 hp@6300 and 927 tq@3300 with 855tq as low as 2500 rpm. I think that is a pretty hot street rpm range setup.

Kenny Duttweiler made some pretty awesome numbers with that Maggie setup, but I'm not so sure if the 2300 series blowers are out for the f-bodies yet.

Does anyone know if or when they will be available?

Its the entire combo that matters. It was a 402 that was being chocked up by small headers, mild cam, stock truck heads, which made alot of torque but ended up being chocked up at higher rpms.

I might just save up for the 2300 series Maggie and spray on top of that, if that will be a possibility that is.

Something's not right with that torque curve. It is completely different from any normal centri curve. Looks like a spray curve. No way you got that just with a centri at those rpms. Not a chance.

i was going to do a project of putting a 3.4 whipple on my ta but it turned out to be way to much funds to do. you would have to simply cut the windshield etc... way to much work just do a turbo

Jim

His sig says th400, and thats a classic torque curve when a convertor flashes. I have seen cam only cars with spray hit that much torque with loose convertors
