Default Perfect TURBO for a 370ci. FORGED

hey guys im about to buy a another turbo for my forged 370ci. 6.0L... it will go in a front mount '06 silverado and im willing to put around 11-15# of boost and this will be my daily driver and i want somthing the will spool kind of fast...around 2700 - 3200 rpms. And also i need a real good turbo that will last. I was thinkin of a S475 with 1.10 ar T6 flange or maybe a T4 on it so it can spool pretty fast... well this is just me i dont rely know if it ewill spool around that rpm, so what do you guys think i should go with?.....with what turbo and with what size of turbine housing???

hey will this turbo work for my set-up its a T76 garrett or anybody familiar with this kind of turbos... ive been trying to look them up in the web but i havent find any they might be old models or what??? anybody...help please i found this for sale for $700 shipped

garrett t-76 turbocharger. Comes with a .70 a/r compressor housing, and a 1.00 a/r twin scroll t4 turbine housing. Got this turbo off a camaro that was parted out, and I believe it is brand new. there are stamps and paint markings still on the comp and turbine wheels, wheels are clean, and there is no oil in center section

turbo spins freely and has absolutely no shaft play. This turbo is good for 900
horsepower!

I wouldnt listen to any of us. Personally I think the st80 is great, if the car is ready for it, and an 06 silverado isnt it.

I put the st80 on zombies car, and there are some things that could be better, if it were done from scratch today. But you cant size a turbo for your truck at all, until you answer....

1. weight
2. exhuast type
3. coated/uncoated
4. wrapped/unwrapped
5. stock 6.0?
6. stock cam?
7. gear ratio
8. tire size
9. trans
10. convertor
11. intercooler (size)
12. water/meth?
13. fuel type
14. injector size
15. fuel pump / delivery
16. tuning type? one time tune, you have time to tune yourself, you have access to a dyno, you have scanner, wide band, egt....

An ST80 with race cover is enough power to put an LS1 in orbit. A TC76 will make great power and is the more budget friendly turbo.

Two weeks and my car will be running, getting broken in with the t76gts @10psi.....then swapping on the ST80 for 14psi and dual meth kit. Can't wait to post results for everyone

s480mm $899 @ forced inductions. Im guessing thats the best bang for the buck, btu for a few hundred more you can get the ST80 but i dont know how much of an improvement that will be spool wise and peak Hp wise. Im going with the $899 80mm with a 1.10 a/r. That will be enough for me, if not we will find out soon enough.
