I thought I read somewere that if the chargepipe was to large it lost its velocity before it reached the motor. What are you other large rearmount turbo guys useing for chargepipe.Hopefully Zombie or Longrange4u will chime in.

where did you put the MAF (if you are still using it?) and how are you supporting the weight of the turbo back there I am trying to find a way to hold mine up and keep it level so it doesn't smoke like so many have.

The MAF is still in the same place as before with the STS kit, after the intercooler. If you look in the pics you can see an exhaust clamp. The clamp is connected to a universal exhaust hanger that is bolted to the bottom of the car.

im sorry I have never had an STS kit and I am doing mine from scratch so I dont really know where that is .. but it looks like I will have to have some kind of extension for the wire cus I cant see it in the pic. So you just have one "C" type bracket bolted to the car then the exhaust clam holding onto that?

I was assuming you was running a STS kit my bad.You can put your MAF up top like it is know.On the STS it comes with wire extensions and the MAF is on the driverside wright in front of the alternator. On the mounting of the turbo I used the one clamp and the stock exhaust hangers like you stated.I also bought a different intermedent pipe that was two piece. That gives you a little bit of adjustment to raise the turbo up a little higher.I can get you pics tommorrow if you like of the MAF and the hanger on the turbo.

lol
