I would be moving that battery cable asap, looks awful close to the ex housing. Looks like you have to yank the header to change oil?

All the wiring has been redone, this was just hot side fab. You can actually snake the fill cap out of there, (will have to get a billet one), and a funnel goes right on through the tubes. Obviously not something you do right after shutting it off, but they cool down fairly quick.

The fab shop is located near Traverse City. If all goes well I will be back there at the end of August to pick the car up and bring it to my new home.
Here is a pic with it on the stand after the motor was built.

Very nice indeed. Planning on coating them?

Also it looks like the dipstick is going to be hating life.

Yeah we will have to see how the dipstick fares... I may end up getting a Lokar or something billet, there is a air gap all the way around it, not sure if it will be enough though.
The tubing is real thick, it holds a lot of the heat in, and I love the look of welded and heat treated stainless, I could never coat that. They were fully argon back purged when welded, that helps give the welds some of the unique look.

Those runners will get extremely hot, and will melt anything plastic within a few inches. Ask me how i know lol.

Yeah, going to look into the Lokar LS1 dipstick.
The runners glow bright red during high load dyno pulls!

Have you thought about coating the manifolds and turbo housing? With some jethot, or swaintec.

lol, you better keep all plastic and rubber away from those headers then lol. I coated my full-race manifold on my honda. It was coated by swaintec and its pretty awesome stuff, it barely ever gets hot. And when swaintec coats them, they do the inside and outside, which means the gas stays hotter and helps propel it through the turbine hotter, and its alot more boost friendly. Only way I will ever have a turbo car again.
