That is one insane wheel stand!
When the car landed it took out the oil pan, and we took the pan off at the track to have it welded up. Madman welded it up for us at the track for a case of beer, which we deeply appreciated. We found bearing material in the pan, and found it to be from the thrust bearing. We called around and no one had a thrust bearing in stock, luckily we were able to buy one at the track that was there in a display engine. Bob

Hal/QA1 said they had never seen a pair of front shocks as bent as mine were! No wonder that after we got it back up and running at the LSX Shoot-out, it wouldn't et. We couldn't compress the shocks because the shafts were so bent. The BMR K member is bent, so are the BMR Upper A Arms and quite possibly the BMR lower A Arms as well. The QA1 front springs are even bowed over to one side.
My brother (Jon) pulled my engine and transmission and rear-end out last week. He took the Moser M9 rear over to Moser so they could add their new lower control arm relocation brackets to it. He waited while they welded them on and we're installing the rear back in tomorrow night. Thanks Jon, and thanks Moser!
The converter is going back to BTE to get tightened up, it's slipping through the big end.
We have the engine back apart, as we didn't want to take a chance with it after we had to replace the thrust bearing at the track. Bob
No problem Bob, it's nice doing some work at the shop again and working under a car with a lift. Almost forgot how nice that was. Hopefully we can get this thing to Bowling Green. Not sure who bought the beer but thanks.

Jon

The lifts do indeed make it much easier. Bowling Green sounds good to me, I think Brent bought the beer. Speaking of, I need to get up and get one! Bob
