clocking the blower (Procharger F1-A) How do I know if my blower is clocked right for a F-body I'm going to mount this thing real soon and I don't wont to do any damage to it!

so if its in the bracket and facing the passenger side and down it clocked right?
I don’t have to take the casing apart to check for a gear to be in the right place then maybe I miss under stood what clocking the blower means.

Hey Bob can you just look at it with your x-ray vision and tell me if its clocked right because I really don’t wont to take this thing apart!

on a self contained oil model, the drain plug should be facing 6' oclock-this sup. places the oil slinger in the proper position-the outer intake housing can be rotated to any position, by loosing the screws and relocating them if nessary-i like to use a bit of anti seize bet. the housing if a lot of rotating is gonna be done, or it can bind up

I understands that the drain pug needs to be at the bottom and that the oil slinger needs to be in the A position but I don’t know how to get the gear box apart to make sure that its in the A position.

No, it's not quite right. Loosen the allen head bolts up and it will rotate around. You may have to take one allen head bolt out and place it on the other side as you clock it around. And make sure you are loosening the bolts that are holding the gear box to the squirrel cage. The lower set of bolts on your bottom picture. Hope this helps.

How do I get it taken apart to this piont to make sure that the oil slinger is in the right position. The gear casing does not wont to come apart is there something that I am missing that I need to do? My oil drain is in the right place but I dont wont to risk some just moving it over and not the slinger.

No No No......you took the wrong screws off!!! Put that thing back together and loosen the other ones around the base.

holy crap, batman-put that thing back together-when its mounted in the brackets, and the drain plug is at 6 o"clock, the slinger (pump) is in the correct position-if it was bought for a spec. appl., the drain plug should be in the correct position when installed in the brackets-the only thing you should have to do is rotate the outlet housing (where the hose connects to the i/c, intake, or whatever you are running) to get it pointing where you want it
this is not my blower this is a D1 blower I need to take it down to this point to make sure that the oil slinger is in the right place but I cant seem to get the casing apart Im guessing that its either the dowl pins or the bearing that are hanging up in the top side of the gear box

What application did you buy this blower for? Bob
The person that bought this blower new from what I understand ran it on a 02 TA with a 408 for less then a 1000 miles so theoretically everything should be fine, even the drain plug is in the A position. But I wont to double check the oil slinger is in the A position as well

I wouldn't take it apart to check the slinger position. You can call in the serial number to ProCharger at 913 338-2886 to verify how it is positioned. Bob
great!! Thanks Bob I will give them a call if they tell me it left the factory clocked in a different position then I will worry about taking it apart. I'm guessing its to much of a pain to worry about it till I get some more info that leads me to believe that its clocked wrong.
