Yes those ngk iridiums one range colder. If you want to go cheaper and mabye change them out yearly then go with tr6 copper. Gap around what was said .030 or so.

You need a colder plug for FI, nitrous, NA if adding HP, etc. Even one heat range colder will lower cumbustion teperature quite a bit.

I'd get the cheaper ones to start, you know your going to go through a set in tuning anyway, and they need to be checked alot like already said. So, TR6 or the iridiums, whatever.

Next colder is tr7 or tr7ix. then tr8,tr8ix. Just run tr6ix and be done with the plug thing. You shouldn't hurt plugs from tuning if you don't run it stupid pig rich for a long time.

NO.

Like I said, a TR6 (not TR6ix) part no 4177.

Gap them @ .035 like they are out of the box.

Ummm well not sure about the last comment. Iridiums are the tr6ix and are used in many factory cars including turbo cars these days and have a life of probably 50,000 mles plus. TR6 are the cheap copper plugs that most guys will change out about every 10,000 miles maybe even less. I do usually use copper plugs in my talons but the plugs in them can be changed out easily in like 5 minutes they are right on top of the engine. Lt1 plugs and ls1 plugs are not near as easy to do usually. LT1 being especially nasty depending on what exhaust manifolds you have in the car.

We are not talking about that much money here .Price of the better plugs is like a tank of gas these days. But again depends how many times you want to go in there. I have not heard of tr65?? Usualy is tr 6 and tr7.Actually think the stock ones are tr55 with the ix added for iridium.

For what its worth, after reading this thread I exchanged my expensive set of plugs for 4 sets of TR6's. I don't put on allot of milleage so one set a year will be lots for this guy!
