No, the turbos are journal bearing (much larger journal bearings than typical Garrett journal bearings) and very reliable.............no significant advantage with a single ball bearing turbo (DBB turbos are the only true ball bearing turbos) over journal bearing turbos on large cube V8's imho and this large custom turbo combination keeps the price of the entire F body twin turbo system very affordable. This is always a major consideration when producing high volume FI systems.

I suspect that the guys who want the high power potential of intercooled twin turbos (and no drive belt issues to seal with) and the advantages of on the fly boost changes will pay a little more for a complete engineered intercooled twin turbo system.

I wasn't trying to make a point. All I was saying is that it's a shame the SHIPPING is so high.

I agree, it is a shame. I suspect there may be cheaper freight deals though one distinct adavantage for our customers who use UPS air freight is the short time between door to door, just 3 to 5 days is an aweome freight service.

I've requested the compressor maps from engineering and as soon as I have the information I will post up. The guys in engineering are very busy and my requests are normally last on their priority list............lol.

The 427 twin turbo system has different inlet hoses designed for4 the larger turbos.

Please rephrase this question as I have no idea as to what you're asking.
