My s91 setup...
I need to thank DrTurbo for the turbo and all the help. Thank you!!!
this is my old turbo next to my new one.
And this is my motor
I got the short block off a fellow member and I've had the heads for 4yrs new in the box. It is a 383 with a Lunati crank and rods, SRP pistons (a little high on compression) and 210cc AFR's. I almost always build my own motors(well assemble them after the machine shop does the work) but could not pass this short block up.
the car is a 97 T/A and is in need of some safety stuff...
I will be installing a 10pt cage before the motor gets installed.

looking good Nick. I've got mine scheduled for the dyno next week. Im finally getting around 14 lbs with my setup. I didn't think you were going to stick with it, but glad you are for sure.

Man I haven't heard from you in a good bit of time... call me sometime.
As for the staying with it part- my old engine made more power on 12lbs than it did on a 200 shot and for the new set up, I don't think a 300 shot will make the kind of power on the motor that the 91mm will.

I'm not sure on the boost level, I guess we will need to see what the motor will like.I have not built any of the exhaust, but I have most everything I need. As of now I will be putting most of my attention into the car,to get it safe for the power it will have.
The old turbo is a GT42 76mm from PTE, it's got a fresh rebuild on it and I need someone to take it off my hands....

From what I see- if you're GT42 turbo has a T6 flange on the exhaust all you would need to change is the cold side pipe at the turbo, because the compressor housings would go from a v-band to slip over connection.
