engine is in, did a few other things too.

had to pull it out a couple times. we were going on hopes and dreams that the pan would clear the kmember (bmr) and it does! (nearly)

had to grind the inside of the drivers side 'ear' of the power steering rack bracket a couple times now there is a 1/4" of room all around.

hopefully it will be running tonight

how tight was the pan to the k-member. I know mine is REALLY tight

update: car is done

had to put a new front main seal in yesterday afternoon. the seal was not replaced nor damper installed correctly during the rebuild at w2w

while i was in there i also found the cover was not clearanced for the timing chain. it took a little beating but i think is ok.

thanks to all the rpm members and friends that made it out to the beach with us. the car worked PERFECTLY thus far and seems dang fast for 13#

Looks great. Make sure to check you AN fittings on the supply and return on the pan. Mine came loose after about 250 miles. But all is well after I retightened them.
