2.125 should be fine, as long as your not making over 750rwhp (guess)

The only reason I ask is I bought this piece thinking it would save me some fab time. I guess I could go 2.5 down to 2.25.

That piece may place the turbo to high, it depends on lots of things though. We had made something simillar, but there was no way it would work for us.
