I think alc is best for all around. It works regardless of speed. I don't think the intercoolers do as much at city speeds or even at track but for sure they work well at higher highway speeds. Nitrous and turbos work awesome together.
My vote is for all of the above.

I run all three, but I am in an 87 Grand National...If you have the $$$ I would do all of them. They all cost about the same to get going, but you never have to fill up an intercooler with anything...if I could only have one I would have an IC.

All of them are good though

I do the intercooler and meth, but no nitrous. For some assinine reason it is illegal to ride around here with a bottle connected. It almost guarantees a racing ticket on a high speeding ticket.

IC if only one. Install and forget. They will create higher IAT's in stop and go traffic. I just installed a small puller fan on the back of mine. Keeps IAT's w/in 25 degrees of ambient in stop/go traffic. Not perfect, but decent for street driving. BTW, thinking of adding water mist as well from the windshield reservoir. Bad for the track, but decent for the street.

Nitrous is not very cost effective to cool the intercooler like some guys do or to put into the engine. Its expensive stuff. Think 7 bucks a pound or more?
Alc injection or meth injection is pretty cheap.Good intercoolers are not that cheap. But you can buy cheap intercoolers on ebay and stuff. How good they work depends on the design, etc.

Nitrous would be my last addition and not nitrous intercooler kit. Spray the nitrous into the motor ,get your moneys worth .And nitrous will add up too .you need window switch, purge, remote opener maybe and bottle warmer to do it right.

oh no i wouldnt do that lame nitrous on the intercooler crap...i think a small 50 shot would do wonders for cooling the intake charge plus an extra 50 ponies wouldnt hurt either heh heh..if i run across a cheap nitro kit then it will be first but i will probally just get an intercooler first...as far as alky i am in the dark and dont know alot about it besides it cools the combustion process.

There are many threads on alc /meth injection on this forum. Advantage is it works regardless of airflow. I don't think the intercoolers can work as well at slow speed in traffic and not sure even how much they help in short 1/4 mile runs. The alc/meth don't depend on airflow. Alc/meth does the same thing as raising octane and keeps detonation away. Seen guys running high boost on different car forums with just alc/meth and no or small factory intercoolers. With just intercooler you still have to run high octane for high boost.
Nitrous works great with turbos. And the shot is magnified a bit from what I have seen. So a 50 shot might give more like 75 hp when combined with boost.
Also get way faster pretty much instant spool up with nitrous. Its a win win scenario.

lol Nah, its $3-$4 per pound. $4 is pretty expensive too, most places that I get my bottle filled are $3.25-$3.50/lb.

Totally true. Even a small 50 shot on my turbo V6 wakes it u BIG TIME. The boost comes noticeably faster.

I would get an intercooler and run meth. Then when you want more boost you can run a boost controller that activates the meth at WOT and not only will you get a cooling effect you also get more octane which will let you run more boost and be safer for the motor.

As far as using nitrous if you did I would use smaller than a 50 shot, so it lasts longer, even 25 hp shot will give you a lot of cooling.
