Solid or Hydraulic
Solid or Hydraulic Was going to use Hydraulic Camshaft for my F2R LTx Build but having second thoughts on the whole hydraulic idea
Anyone prefering the solid roller for the FI over HD.
Why?Is it that hard to control the Lifter plunger under boost so the solid is preferd due to float?

How fast are you going to spin it? IMO the current hydraulic rollers don't give up anything to a solid until around 6500 - after that the solids really shine.
I have a Comp Extreme Street Roller in my Vortech-blown 383 and love it, and I stayed with a bigger Comp XSR for my new 434"/Whipple 3.3 motor. I like to be able to spin it up to 7000-7200 if I need to.
