Default Wow!

Wow this is exactly how I imagined my build to look, except in the engine bay of a Datsun Z!

I'm building a LQ9 and I wanted to bore it out to a 408, but I don't want to go stroker because I am building this motor for a street car and I want this investment to last a while so I was thinking of just using a stock crank and make it a 370 for longevity... Why did you decide to go with a stroker on your street car or did you not build it for the purpose of longevity?

And once again fantastic job I cant wait to see more pictures or video!

thanks a bunch guys!! i really appreciate it

to tell the truth i haven't been on here in a long time. i've been really busy with work, and am actually posting from my hotel room in lake george on a business trip as we speak.

i am VERY VERY pleased with the setup. it performs better than expected. ZERO issues. it is faster and STRONGER on the GATE than it was on 16psi on the last setup, which netted me a 141 trap.

when i get back i will actually be turning up the boost; and the mentioned firehawk and myself will actually be doing some damage control to some "talkers" a little east of us.

i've been waiting to take/post some pics until i could clean her up...just have been rather busy. but i'll get on that

can't say enough about this turbo! forced inductions really did something when they put this thing together. if its making this much power on 8-9psi, i can't imagine it when i actually spin this thing. hope to hit the dyno soon and see what we can do.

wastegate is 7psi spring. it was seeing 8-9psi.

just turned it up to a measly 12psi today...... woohooo! it's pretty fun. i can actually hear the turbo now. might switch it to 13-14 before i take the wideband out again tonight. need to race the F1C firehawk to get a gauge

What alternator bracket is that?
It kinda looks like a stock bracket flipped around.
