WHAT air lid did you use/ cut up ,slp lid ???

nice job

Warren
i dont even know...i picked it up used for 40 bucks and b/c i was gonna cut it up i wasnt too concerned on what kind it was. you do need to make sure its the taller lids though cause there are a few out there that sit lower and it wont work. if ya look carefully, there's actually a little hump on top of the lid. i had to heat it up and massage it over the intercooler cause it wasnt tall enough to clear it straight up.

Are you running the normal firebird airbox base, or the WS6 raised base?

I am going to have to do that to my car, since it looks way better than the APS part

yes...its the stock box off of my Formula. i had to cut it up to make it fit over the APS brackets and didnt want to use the raised one. worked out cause i turned the Formula into a WS.6 clone and needed a lower box...

Very nice, I like the lid idea. I'm planning to put a APS kit on my 402 sometime in the next few years.
