Heres a run down
Initially we started this build in 2006 with a D1SC and ATI supplied intercoolers and a 370ci LSX motor Speed inc. SC2 camshaft, AFR 225 heads. Power came in at 660rwhp.
Year later owner came back to us to install F1A and FMIC, we went with a custom specification bell intercooler, SD concepts bracket and used full exhaust that contained 4 mufflers. Dyno 801rwhp.
With a few tweeks to the air induction the car dynoed SAE corrected 845rwhp in the owners hometown in Denver.
Present day, swapped to dumped bullet mufflers and file changes. SAE 870rwhp/771rwtq

Thanks Fraser!
I guess I'll start off by saying thanks to Speed Inc. for their continued support toward this project car. As you can tell, they did a top notch job on the build. There is a reason why this shop continues to prosper with sales both in the U.S. and overseas while other speed shops are beginning to close their doors. Speed Inc. will work with you closely to reach your goals and expectations on your build. Whether it is a record breaking track car or a stealth, super street car, they have the experience, connections, and knowledge to turn your ride into an incredible machine. Thanks again to Fraser for all of the time spent responding to the massive amount of e-mails that I have sent over the years and for the world class customer support.
Now... about the car... you asked for pics... so here ya go! I'll take pics of the mufflers tomorrow and post them. Gotta get the car up in the air. The race exhaust is simple:
Kooks 1 7/8" longtube headers
(2 qty.) Moroso Spiral Flow Race Mufflers 4" Round x 16" Long (stainless)
(2 qty.) Jegs 3" turndowns (Welded to the exits of Moroso Mufflers)
The exhaust dumps under the driver and passengar seats (i.e. pipes do NOT extend to the rear axle). No X-pipe. O2 sensors read fine. The Autometer wideband is welded on at the entrance of one of the Moroso mufflers ... reads fine. The Moroso mufflers are not a full straight through design so you get some backpressure to retain low-end power and keep the O2 sensors reading correctly. The sound is loud and deep ... like a well built race car. The Moroso mufflers actually reduce a fair amount of the raspy sound.
This is a race car ... NOT a street car ... trailered to and from the track. I would NOT recommend running this exhaust setup on the street ... you would just be asking for trouble.
Thanks for all the comments. I'll try to answer questions as best as I can. Reading over a couple of the comments, agreed the car does have more potential / unrealized power. I'll be inching up the power as I continue along.
Eric
