ST80 track results
Other passes were:
11.009 @ 133.37 on a 1.99 60' (still faster than Georges best)
10.684 @ 133.94 on a 1.81 60'
10.511 @ 133.98 on a 1.80 60'
At least I got 5 passes (timing was screwed up on one pass). It's nice to have the car launch like crap still run mid 10's I think it will go high 9's with some more track bite.
Boost was 17psi, tried 20psi on the one run but didn't gain anything so something in my system is at the limit. I'm done as far as i'm concerned. I'm probably going to swap a smaller housing on and just enjoy the car now. It's fast enough.
wondering if maybe the piping diameter/distance is becoming a restriction.
I'm thinking that intake piping size is the choke point, might try to go to some 3" to see if it will improve since that is fairly cheap to have done. Right now my piping is 2.25-2.5 to the intercooler, it's 3" after the intercooler though so only the long mostly straight run needs to be done. I was hoping to get this thing into the 140 range, but it's not going to happen until the choke point is found.
I should probably throw a boost gage on the turbo outlet to see how much pressure my piping is losing, it's probably pretty bad.

The .3s slow at the 1/8th is nothing with that bad of a 60' and slightly slower spool on the ST80. Get that baby to hook and give it a load and you'll be back on track for the 9s even before you find the missing power.

I wasnt bashing I just want to get it on the car,and i was just saying you guys cant get the flange.
I cant wait to drive a turbo car thats all....
The ST80 is barely better than the T76 was and that should not be the case. Back pressure has been eliminated from the system as a culprit so now I am thinking the problem is intake piping. Our DA Friday night was really good, it was only 4200' at 11pm when it was 80 degrees out so that shouldn't be holding me back much.
Once the piping is changed out I'll of course post my results for everyone. I'm pretty sure it will be worth something since it's probably not the best to be flowing 900hp worth of 250+ degree air through 5' of 2.25" piping.

If that is true that is a BIGGGG problem. I will check the math again in the morning, I hope its wrong....lol. If not its a miracle that turbo can make that kind of boost at the intake.....its fighting hard to push that air.
