Question About Supercharger
I have a Sierra C3. 6.0L , Hypertech programmer, poweraid throttle body spacer, AEM cold air intake, Borla Exhaust.
I just recently got a powerdyne supercharger and i want to add it to my truck but i've been told i need to build my bottom end. My motor is stock internals and i am wanting to put this charger on with 6 psi but i've been told it would blow my motor since my bottle end ain't built. Let me know what you guys think. Will it be safe or not?

You are going to need to unload the Hypertech tune back into the programmer and sell it. With a good dyno tune your stock bottom end in your engine will be just fine with the supercharger. Bob

with only 6 psi your bottom will live with a good tune.take a look at EPP, bobs camaro had over 100,000 miles on it before they put a procharger on it and it ran for a long time

And Bob@EPP ran it with more boost that really should have, and it survived fine. Depends on tune.
I did exactly as described with my hypertech off my camaro, and put it towards HPTuners. I don't self tune, but I can go and adjust little stuff, and when I do cams, can load some kind of tune in just to make cars driveable to the local tuner.
