Default Progressive boost controller?

I'm a little new to the whole FI world. I'm looking for a progressive boost controller just like a progressive nitrous controller. Anyone make anything like that? I know you can manually adjust the Profec-B on the fly, but i'd rather not have to mess with that.

The eboost will do boost per gear and also I think off rpm as well. We sell alot of them to our customers and have had great luck with them.

Both of those a great choices...the AMS-500 is a little 'industrial' looking for a street car (IMO).

You can do the EBoost2 by rpm, gear or MPH - it can also act as a window switch for nitrous, meth or anything else...

im setting up the ams-500 and will be playing with the progressive settings.. it dose pounds per second to what ever boost u want.
I think it looks fine..unless its put on ur dash board with all the wires going through it.. under you hood or console works and out of sight.

Im guess with the eBoost the per gear function only works with automatics?

Is there a way to do it off the speedo?

The E-boost is most definately not limited to an auto. Unless auto's have 6 gears lol.

And of course it needs a speed reference to work ( and rpm I assume )

Yup AMS 500 or 1000 is what I would and did go with. They offer the progressive time based feature like a nitrous controller would and the 1000(500 mihgt but I dont know) offers a "scramble" and "reduce" feature you can wire up to buttons on the wheel or something. Set them up and if you need a couple more pounds of boost half track then hit the scramble button. If you get in trouble you can hit the reduce button and it will bleed off however much boost you set it up for.

I have yet to try mine but from what I hear they are dead nuts accurate also.

In a six speed, you have to wire up micro switches for each gear...you wouldn't have one in first and then you would have one for 2-3-4-5-6...

You really only need 3...low boost in 1st - mid in second - full in 3-4-5-6

Also, you can do boost by time (like the AMS) or boost by MPH (very very nice)

Also, the Eboost has a 'scramble' boost.

It can ramp boost before a shift to keep you in peak, it can control the gate to stay shut untill a certain pressure (spools faster), etc...

I looked at the eBoost and it didnt look like they have a MPH function. Just time and RPM. Is it the AMS unit that has the MPH function?

gps accepts a 0-5 volt signal. You have 6 stages that you can classify with a voltage and a range on either side of it. Now all you need is to have a signal that you can output that is a 0-5 volt based on speed....now you have speed based control.
